Hey guardians, it’s R-DUB9, one of the meowtastic admins of TGR, here with some Oryx Tips. These tips especially apply to challenge mode, but I strongly recommend them for normal and hard mode as well (barring killing knights in normal mode).
For this week, I will focus on the roles of each team member during the challenge mode raid. These are things like prioritizing certain enemies, where to move, and how to best assist the team in successfully completing this challenge.

ROLES:
The Runner:
The runner gets the invincibility that everyone loves. It lets you tank enemy damage, and lets you fire TOM as much as you want.
As the runner, you’ll want to be as fast (but safe) as you can while running. Ensure you make the call out when you get the brand from the final platform. This lets the plate team get to safety. When you have the brand, you’ll want to get to the front, but avoid going through the center of the area in the air, the ship will clock you. Hide at the very front of the map, where there is a small set of stair behind the pillars right where the vessel spawns.
Once you steal the brand, get to the center where the team is as fast as possible. Do not try to kill the vessel until your team is safe with you. Survival and keeping the team alive is your goal.
Ogres and Cleanup Crew:
Generally (almost always) this is a titan role. 2 guardians control the middle of the map, between the 2 daughters platforms. All you do is kill ogres as fast as possible. If there are 2 titans, use blessing and weapons. If only 1, use blessing. TOM is necessary for this role. Burn through the blessing, a bit of health, and when the ogre dies pop into the blessing to get the shield back.
Once all ogres are dead, you are in charge of the 4th and possibly the 3rd light eater knights (hard mode only). These spawn across from the 3rd and 4th ogres you killed. TOM or a sniper should be used, and if you have to kill a few adds to avoid taking too much damage, do so.
Plates, Knights, Add Killing:
After you are up on your platform, you help kill your ogre then focus your knight and adds. From all platforms there is a sightline to the knight, and it can be damaged while spawning. Once that knight is killed or out of line of sight, kill the acolytes. Sniper rounds are to be saved for the knights and acolytes. Killing the acolytes eliminates more than 50% of the chaotic guardian damage.
If you are on the BACK plates and your ogre is spawning 2nd, you’ll want to peek off the side of your plate where your teammates adds spawn. Take out the acolytes and toss a friendly grenade or some heavy in there for good measure. Right after that start looking for your knight from that corner of the plate closest to where the adds spawn.
As soon as you hear the runner call that they have the brand, GET OFF ASAP. It does not matter if your knight is still alive. Deal with it from the safety of the center and call out for assistance and to let everyone know.

That’s all for now everybody, I hope this little strat guideline is helpful, and you all know I am open for questions on any of it and more. My PSN name is R-DUB9 if you do not already know, and I’ll catch everyone meowing it up in destiny!

Very nice. Couldn't have said it better myself. And to add to it after you have staggered oryx kill as many thrall as you can before knights and shade comes in to prevent adds from being inside when you teleport
