Boolean Gemini
I want to start off by saying I am a very loyal customer to Bungie and I do not start posts complaining about problems regularly. I ran into a problem with the Boolean Gemini quest, and I believe it is an oversight on Bungie's part.
I have been a very loyal Destiny player ever since I started playing on PS4 the Christmas the Dark Below came out. I have all 3 characters at a high level and have played Destiny every day since I started. My wife got me an Xbox One this past Christmas, and hoping I would start playing other games. To her dismay, I just returned every game she bought me and got a fresh copy of Taken King for it and started over from scratch since I already have everything on my PS4 account.
The problem I ran into was when I started the quest line for the Boolean Gemini. I wanted a good scout rifle since I just missed getting the Mida by a few strange coins. So, I completed the Petra quest line, then the Variks quest, then the Lost and Found questline. When I turned in the Witch's Broach I got nothing. So I did some research and found the reason was because you have to be rank 3 with Queen's Wrath. I got the Boolean Gemini at that point with my PS4 account was because I was like rank 7 on my hunter.
So then I googled all ways you can get Queens rep. I ran through the House of Wolves quest and then did all three new bounties Petra had too. I am only rank one with 1050 of 3000. At 250 rep each bounty it will take me over 7 weeks to get this gun? This can't be right and must be an oversight. You wouldn't offer the spark of light and subclass packages for sale at the PS4 store if you didn't want new players to be able to jump into gameplay at a higher level. Can someone please fix this?? Either make more bounties available with higher rep per bounty or lower the rank requirement for the gun to become available. Please someone help out with this. I would really like to get this gun.

2 RepliesHere is the steps to get the weapon: 1. Complete "Lost and Found" 2. Complete "The Taken War: Petra" 3. Complete "Wolves of Mars: Variks" 4. Attain Rank 3 in Queen's Wrath. After completing The Taken War, Petra will have 3 Taken bounties each week that will net you 1000 rep. Once all this is finished, Petra will have BG for you.

The wolves on Mars spawn will give you rep, there are also the 3 yellow dregs on the moon in the hall of whispers I believe that will give you rep From the spawn head down past the 2 hallowed knights when you get to the chamber with the shrieker turn left at the central columns

Run Prison of Elders level 34 and/or 35 for etheric light, then trade it to Petra for extra rep.

1 ReplyThis is more a feedback issue. But I get what you mean that new players can't get rep like year 1 players. You can also run poe and get etheric light which helps a little. If not then keep grinding just like any RPG :) As for gun itself...it's not that good. But that is my opinion, I'm happy with my hung jury :)
