What Are Some of Your Quirks?

Quirks are not to be confused with traits and interests. Traits are general behaviors that make up your personality. Interests are things like your love for animals or your taste in music. Quirks, however, are small nuances of your personality that others can find endearing or peculiar or annoying or whatever. Things that make you unique. Examples:
Traits: Awkward around strangers. Easily agitated. Happy with family. Protective of friends. Interests: Love for animals. Dislike of Rock music. Preference for white cheese. Identifies as a communist. Quirks: Always placing the volume at an even number. Enjoying the sound of shaking an Advil bottle. Keeping empty boxes because they look nice. Making a specific sound while playing with pets. Flushing the toilet twice every time. Holding pens in an unusual way.
So what are some of your quirks, Offtopic?

 • I have a habit of repetitively hitting the lock button on my car key as I walk away, usually causes the horn to sound off two or three times before I stop. I have a dreadful memory, I think by the second or third time i'll remember hearing the horn when I ask myself if I locked the car later. Whenever I either intentionally or unintentionally make a slight movement or twitch with one side of my body, I repeat the behavior with the opposite side, sometimes leading to a quick series of rhythmic movement. It can be something like twitching an ear, tapping two fingers together, small things like that. I have an issue when dealing with water if i'm in an uneasy state of mind, doubled if combined with sound. For instance, being near a running shower, running sink, or a waterfall will cause me to build anxiety more quickly than being near deep, standing water. Unless i'm actually IN standing water, then that is worse. Under ordinary circumstances, i'm not easy frightened, but i'm quite easily startled. Even if something shouldn't cause me to jump, if it's sudden or loud enough, it probably will. This one is one of the little things my girlfriend thinks is cute, so while it can get a little annoying for me, it's not all bad.
