This can't be said enough (nerf, nerf, nerf, you filthy nerf hearders)

Look, I used to be one of those guys that thought a lot of things were overpowered when I played, and in Year 1, when it was impossible to get "required" items to drop so I could join raid teams, I thought to myself that these things are too powerful. It was enough that I quit playing for a little while. That and not being able to keep progress from the Beta, but that's another story. I didn't want them weakened so much as I just wanted the drop rate to improve. Fast forward to Year 2 (I still never got a Gally), and we have a new problem - people asking for nerfs, constantly, on unbroken items. Bungie has tried to preserve "balance" in PVP, which is a good thing, and I have to say, the balance is pretty fair and even. There are weapons that stand out as being a little better, but they're supposed to. MIDA should beat Hung Jury in a heads up war - Newsflash, IT'S AN EXOTIC. Exotic weapons are SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER than everything else in their class. A slightly better weapon can be countered with better tactics and teamwork. Easily. Trust me, I know. I've been using my Arminius D since I found out how legit and face melting it is (a friend had it the first go 'round on the packages, I picked it up on the second go 'round). I've also been using MIDA a bunch this IB, along with the Radiant Dance Machines, just to counter the snipers that are out there, and there are a few, but not as many as people think there are. Admittedly, I haven't spent hours upon hours in the game over the last week. With the New Year's holiday, I've been working 18 hour days, so I haven't been on as much, but I've still put in enough time to hit Rank 3 (and a half I think), and will hit rank 5 tonight (most likely). What I've seen this IB is simple - a little bit of everything. I can't say I've seen more than couple dozen people running 1000 Yard Stares, only a couple running MIDA, a handful of Hung Jury, a couple of Invectives, tons of swords, 1 Fourth Horseman, and a ton of other awesome rifles that I can't even think of the names for, many of them I had never seen before. When we get beat, we have a tendency to blame something other than ourselves. Instead of saying "that MF'er got me, I need to make sure I see him and start shooting sooner next time", we say things like "OMG, I was robbed by SUPERFUSIONHUNTERXXXXXXXXX89972673683389763897 because Titan OP and NEEDS NERF, NOOOOOOESSSSS". You weren't robbed, you lost a gun fight, or were killed by a super. Shit happens, grow up. The world is a difficult place, and if you can't adapt and work within a system to overcome failings, forget Destiny for a moment, perhaps life isn't for you (just kidding). There is no weapon or super move in this game that is so overpowered that it's game breaking. Are there some minor tweaks that can be made to improve slightly on the PVP end? Perhaps. Warlocks, I'm sorry, but your Sith lord super does last a little long considering the speed boost and range. Would I change it? No, I just run from it until I can turn and fire, hopefully killing the Warlock. Eventually I'll get back to running my warlock again, and people will complain about me using it. Full circle, and still not really "broken". Instead of asking for things to be weakened, and whining about it on the forum, a far better use of the community is to ask "how can I counter weapon/super/grenade ______?". The best balance in game play is there, and that is kind of game breaking in of itself, because some of the weapons and armors SHOULD be superior. Otherwise, what's the point of them being exotic? If they aren't superior, we should be able to equip an entire set of them and everyone run around with a totally maxed character (which I'd love to see anyway). Long story short, or TL DR - Balance is too good, and some things should be a little better than others (like they are), otherwise there's no point to having them to begin with, so quit whining about it and adapt.
