[i]In a heartbeat she has swung round grabbing the dummy, she teleports 3 meters in the air , rotating so the dummy is beneath her, tucking her feet up against its chest she powers it into th floor, where it splinters into 3 parts. She spins looking for her next target. [/i]

[i] In a flash Lance is in front of her, grabbing her wrists and holding them at her side.[/i] "Light." [i] He says quietly.[/i]

[i]As soon as he touches her,she grins[/i] " just what I needed" [i] he can feel her drawing his energy right before a substantial energy blast throws them both apart, she slides back along th floor, one hand on the ground to balance herself[/i]

[i] She feels him stopping her sliding from behind her, one knee on the ground as he stops her by wrapping his arms around her waist. [/i] "Whats wrong?"

[i]she keeps drawing more energy off him, bracing herself blows them both back into the wall, him taking the brunt of it.[/i]

[i] He smacks the wall and lands on his knees, groaning and standing up.[/i] "This is getting old Light."

[i] She lands in a crouch, and spins as if expecting him to do something.[/i] " Hows Anumi?"

"I didn't take you for the jealous type Light." [i]He stands up and crosses his arms over his chest, blowing the lock of hair out of his eyes and it falling on the bridge of his nose.[/i]

"She's only a friend Light." [i]He attempts to regain his calm demeanor, but the iciness in his eyes betrays him.[/i]

[i] The air around him seems to chill and get thinner, like their high in the atmosphere. [/i] "You don't know what you mean to me Light." [i] He says, his tone cold and devoid of emotion, power rolling off of him in waves.[/i]

[i] In contrast her eyes are full of fire and passion and anger and hurt, all the things you'd expect,. The more energy he releases into the room the more she draws from him, [/i] " I think I know exactly what I meant"

[i] He walks slowly towards her, the air getting thinner as more energy rolls off of him.[/i] "You know Light, ever since San Diego, I didn't want any ties to anything. My kids don't need me, they hop through time and space just like me. So I've traveled through time and space, thousands of years in future and in the past; I've seen worlds shatter, millions die, and killed thousands." [i] He slowly gets closer to her, the power coming off him like a pressure in the room.[/i] "And I was lonely. So you know why I'm here Light?" [i] He stands only a few inches away from her now, the air tangibly cold and the power enough to make her ears pop.[/i] "It was to find you. I was tired of being alone." [i] He says, his icy blue eyes practically glowing at this point, the calm demeanor gone and in its place...a being; the likes of which Light didn't know existed inside of Lance.[/i]

[i] Her gaze doesn't, drop she won't be broken again, not even by him. She's not hearing the words, all she see's are the eye's of the little girl and her mother as she rasps her last breath . She hears that laugh,same laugh that haunts her every night before she goes to sleep. Slowly the air starts to pressurise around them,tears appear in the fabric of their space [/i]

"Go ahead, keep drawing power from me, you'll kill yourself." [i] Lance says bluntly, not breaking his eyes from hers.[/i]

[i]She doesn't see him ,her pupils are fixed,wherever she is she isn't there anymore The highly pressurised air,with nowhere else to go begins to very slowly spin, there is an occasional pop and snapping sound as time and space start to distorte[/i]

[spoiler]Just saying, he's not joking when he says she'll kill herself if she draws too much power from him. She doesn't know what he holds.[/spoiler] [i]He stands there, looking at her with his arms crossed across his chest.[/i]

[i]Lance simply stands there in close proximity, his arms across his chest and gazing at Light.[/i]

[i] There is a massive jolt and th power goes out as the IF forces attack the Avalon. Both of them stumble and everything around them dissipates. Light is on her knees as the red glow of the emergency lighting goes on.[/i] " What the fk was that!"

"Obviously an attack." [i] Lance says, rather bored.[/i]

[i]Completely oblivious to anything that has just transpired , from when she threw them against the wall.[/i] " well I don't want the 'Raven' turned to scrap now that JT has just finished kitting her out, ...since I am obviously boring you with my feelings ,I'd better get out of here." [i] Teleports to the hanger.[/i]

[i] He teleports and follows her to the hangar, catching her by both of her wrists.[/i] "You're not boring me with your feelings. I just wish you would see that I want you, and only you Light." [i] He says looking her in her eyes.[/i]
