I am not a creationist

After reading some of the replies to Madmax and Britton's posts on evolution, I became curious as to the identities of the people who insisted that evolution was a lie, and, more specifically, how old they actually were. I recalled that based off various age polls, the majority of Offtopic consists of people aged 13-16, so logically, the majority of the creationists must also be between those ages. I found it quite fascinating that, at such a young age, most children haven't had the opportunity to even take a basic high school biology course (here in Canada, biology isn't an available course until grade 11) yet somehow have the knowledge to be able to vehemently deny evolution. Anyways, I'd like the creationists of Offtopic to vote on this poll for their corresponding age. If you believe in evolution (like 98% of scientists) then vote for the last poll option. I'll be making a thread soon with more information about why it is ridiculous to try to deny evolution.
If you believe

Believe

Like 98% of scientists

98%
Well everyone else was jumping off the edge so I figured it must be the right thing to do. So if a majority believe something you should hop on that bandwagon too? Percentages of the believing populace should have no influence on your decision. Doing your research, thinking it through, and then deciding whether you believe or not is what should matter. People have the right to make their own decisions and come to their own conclusions, regardless of how stupid they may be. If I can't judge a transvestite because he should be allowed to make his own choices, why should anyone be judged for making their own choices about a religious belief? Does the general public believing or not believing in evolution actually affect you or anyone at all? Use your head kid. And if you give me this bullshit of "a creationist/religious person shouldn't hold a government position" as it being an affect, well then tough. They got voted in my a majority, and more than likely that majority knew their religious preference. That's how democracy works. You don't have to like it, but that's how it is.
