Vex are semi biological, and we do not understand what they are at all. so they cannot simply be hacked. And also its not newbie friendly to give new player a wall of text with information they dont understand. But other than that, quite good. My idea is that a group eliksni that see they have no other way of survival against mighty hive gods, or infinite masses of vex than join the guardians. It would make more sense than a single one escaping and you proceed to meet 10 others in patrol. I think it should start with a small questline before you unlock the patrols or tower where you and a fireteam (matchmaking or friends) rise against the baron you serve, thus breaking free from the rest of the fallen and proving yourselves to the vanguard.
