The hell?
[b]He holds up a HoloPad and opens the message[/b]

The Holopad proves useless, the formatting too old to work.

Goddamn this old tech... [b]He downloads the message and converts it to binary to read it[/b]

The conversion from the Terminal to the Holopad, once again, fails.

Sigh... [b]He uploads it to his Genesis Systems, in order to read the binary[/b]

It continues to fail on all aspects. A public terminal seems to be the only option.

[b]He sends it to a Terminal disconnected form the Public Mainframe of the Ship[/b] Is this even relevant anymore? If can't even be read by HoloPads? [b]He listens to it [/b]

There's no audio, only a three-letter text-only message, a .JPEG, and the .EXE file.

The .EXE completely refuses to open, while the .JPEG seems to be a set of coordinates displayed in a criminal-esque set of magazine trimmings. Said coordinates lead to a hypothetical space well beyond the mapped universe, whose nearest mapped neighbor is a star cluster several billion light years away from it. Not accounting for anything other than distance and speed, the Axion could make the journey in about two days. The text file is simple. Three little letters. [b]>SOS[/b]
