Poems. There for the people with social disorder who try to treat themselves through writing. I mean look at the style your hiding the meaning in connected words. Why not just say what you feel?

Maybe because it sounds better in the use of colorful adjectives, verbs, etc? No great poem writers ever became great by plainly stating their feelings.

True, it's a for a literature. But at the same time is has no real purpose other than a treatment that does nothing compared to a therapist or doctor. Poe was a great dark poet but he died either drunk on a street or something else. He could faces his problems but died. Now I do know that all poems are not gloomy. But my point stands.

If that's how they want to express their feelings then let them do it. Personally I think 95% of therapists or doctors are useless because they don't know what they're talking about anyway. Most of them are in it for money, so they'll diagnose you with anything they can to keep you coming back even though you don't really need their help.
-
Yes I know they want to express it like that but most of the time poets that use poems as a treatment have more problems later on. I just find it useless to express something that could be said in sentence that could save your life or another persons time.

Annnnnd how do you know that's what this is for?
-
Exactly we don't know till she tells us. That is the problem. She is evading a answer and which she is playing a pointless game and we are supporting it with each post.

Edited by Omega Bulldog: 1/2/2016 12:03:31 AMAll she did was ask what you thought about a poem and you made some way off topic accusation about her. You're confusing me more and more by the second. If we don't know, then why did you say anything about it in the first place?
