[PS3 - CANNOT LAUNCH DESTINY] Problem reading game content!

Ok, so by now I'm massively pissed off because I cannot play the game at all. Nice way to waste some money. Here is what is happening. I have a PS3 Slim (CEH-2004B) I bought used from a friend. He used to play Destiny vanilla on this console (he bought it from PSN) and everything was fine. However, when I decided to try after the Taken King launched, I cannot even run the game. 1) I insert the disk (I bought my own new copy from a store - totally unrelated to the copy my friend played, but for the record his PSN copy stopped working on this console too) 2) The game downloads all the patches (8 GB+) 3) The game launches and starts transferring data from the disk as well as downloads some more data (~1,5 MB) 4) Once the process finishes I get a "Problem Reading Game content. To help improve Destiny, please report this problem using the following system screens.". When I press "OK" the console freezes (let it hang for at least an hour and nothing happens) and has to be restarted manually. I can also close the game using the PSN button if I do so before pressing the "OK" button. I tried formatting the console using both Quick and Full formats, but it didn't help. Here are the exact steps I followed: 1) Did a quick format 2) Initial setup 3) Log-in to PSN 4) Error reproduced as above and 2) Did a full format (took about 16 hours) 2) Initial setup 3) Log-in to PSN 4) Activated the system in Account Management 5) Error reproduced as above After the error happened I tried downloading the DLCs (Taken King, Expansions, etc.) but it doesn't change anything. Since formatting doesn't help, obviously simply deleting game data and re-downloading it doesn't help either. I was able to play the game on another console and it worked there so I'm sure that the disk isn't faulty. The console is probably fine too since it played Destiny fine before the Taken King. Never had any issues with any other games (both PSN and disk versions). Any suggestions Bungie? -.-
