"Wherever I walk, blood and bodies follow in my wake. Wherever I speak, my lungs burn people at the stake. They're drawn to me, like moths to a flame. It makes me crazy, it drives me insane."

Edited by TRIX Blade: 12/31/2015 5:00:19 PMIt might be trying to say that you (and no, not you specifically OP) are hurting people with every word, every action. You want this to change, but it's hard on you. It's an emotional rollercoaster.

1 ReplyIs this your original work? My I suggest: "Wherever I walk, blood and bodies lay in my wake. Wherever I speak, my words burn people at the stake. Lost souls are drawn to me, like moths to a flame. [b]It is delightful, yet maddening and insane."

6 RepliesEdited by Sylok's Defiler: 12/30/2015 6:45:01 PMYou sound like one serious home wrecker. But on the note that your tags of poetry aren't for show, then you may think what you have written has a deeper meaning. It very well may, but from the average reader, your stanza is direct. It sounds like there is no deeper meaning; you are describing your own agony in that the masses fail to understand what you say and what you do. This isn't a deeper meaning, this is teenage emotion channeled into remorse. Of course, I very well may be wrong. I'm only a creative writing minor, but I tried and that's what counts. Get back to me when you can. I'd like to hear what it means after all.
