Titan exclusive weapons still worthless
Sure would be nice to have some relevant class weapons. Do any Titans out there use them?

I think it's unanimous that everyone agrees that Titans drew the short stick when it came to the class exclusive weapons. Keep the post moving!

My full opinion on the Fabian Strategy though, I think that they should have just made it so that the perk will increase the RoF, but leave the Impact unchanged, why should the Tlaloc have this feature without their impact changing? The stability is noticeably altered when the perk is active though, so that's a plus.

The Immobious should have been this super OP shotgun that everyone wants. (like a pre-nerf Felwinter's Lie + Max range + Shot Package type deal.) and the Warlocks and Hunters wouldn't get them, because you know, class exclusivity. Not this low impact shotgun with a perk that only works with Armor of Light, nothing for us Strikers or Sunbreakers? The Fabian Strategy feels more like a Legendary now, although I love using it as it is now after they buffed it.

Half the time the perk kicks in you take a conspiracy theory to the face, the other half the sudden recoil change puts your aim off a bit. It can take on a number of pulse/scout rifles at close-med range, and even the doctrine of passing sometimes (dunno what you guys think, but that thing is just bonkers). I think just more recoil control and remove the damage change in the perk and the gun will be great n much more worth being an exotic Also cant help but think that bungie is being really careful with it, seems like the kind of gun that could easily become op. As for immobius, eh. The gun has crap damage but is fast and feels good. N that perk is cray cray situational, like you might get to use it once or twice in pvp IF you use defender, IF you use armour and not blessing, IF your enemy is dumb enough to run in, and IF you dont get ground pounded by another titan or something. Something like melee energy on hit or kill would be so much more useful. N not a fan of the surrounded perk, to me thats pretty rare even in pve

The shotgun should never have been limited to one subclass running one perk. Neither of the other two classes got saddled with a crap tasting(lol! meant to type crap-tastic and autocorrected to that!) "class" specific, NOT subclass specific, legendary. It's the most worthless P.O.S. in my arsenal. I seriously don't know how anyone can use it at all and say that it's even an okay shotgun.

They were both terrible weapons and while the R/F was fixed on the Fabian it now has to suffer from the fact that it's stably bonus is still unnoticeable. The shotgun is so bad we would all like ignore the fact every class got class special weapons. After seeing how they did on Fabian I don't think they would do any better on immobius.

1 ReplyI don't currently main a Defender, but I think the shotgun might be kind of interesting, especially combined with a high intellect build and the Helm of St. 14. Keep your bubble up and kill everything inside it.

I wish the impact didn't change when the speed increased. Sure, Suros Regime has to spin up before it can fire fast, but its impact doesn't change, right? Look at the difference between Suros and Fabian's impact, it's not like it would break the weapon. Same with Tlaloc, its impact doesn't change either, maybe just add some kind of requirement to Fabian as well. [b] Right now, the exotic perk doesn't justify the worse-than-legendary stats.[/b] The solution isn't to nerf Tlaloc down to Fabian levels... but to buff Fabian and maybe even Ace up to Tlaloc levels. Should be fine to buff now that Funbreaker got nerfed!

Before hardlight I did, now I haven't touched it beside when I put all my weapon in vault and leave the class weapons on.

No because they suck. Immobius perk doesnt even work. Plus its a trash shotty anyway. Tlaloc is really good wen u have super. That fusion is good as well. Ace of spades kinda sucks. Stillpiercer is one of better snipers in game.

But its just not as good as a Conspiricy -D or Chaperone. The auto rifle is the same as some legendarys so no point in taking an exotic spot up with it.

Edited by Drillthoven: 12/31/2015 6:55:00 AMI tried using the Immobius, it's alright, has a nice fire rate, but I don't see why you would use it over Invective, or Conspiracy Theory-D if you want the other archetype. Any super offensive Titan is running Armor of Light, which is where Immobius shines. However, 90% of the time you're using it outside of your bubble, so the perk doesn't really come into play too often. Fabian Strategy would be good if they didn't scale the damage down when the rate of fire went up. It's just an odd auto rifle with a less than stellar design and throw away exotic perk.

In other words, if you use the Fabian Strategy in a direct conflict, you're going to get wrecked. You're supposed to use it geurilla style. Flanking maneuvers, etc. In other words, the direct opposite of how Titans play. :(

I see youtube video where is player constantly losses CQBs with Fabian, and didn't found one where is Fabian rules. Shotgun just shit by yourself with i't stats and limits you by Defender subclass and even concrete nodes.
