Why is Faction Wars not a thing yet?
Similar to what happens in MKX. Faction with most points overall in a season gets rewards.
Perhaps a package for first place which guarantees a exotic or a shader.
Armour or Weapon for second place.
Motes and coins for third place.
Also, you can only change allegiance on Tuesday when the system refreshes to avoid people joining the faction who is winning at the last second.
And the more faction armour or shaders or colours you wear, the more points go the overall score.

That wouldn't be a bad idea. Probably a faction for Osiris and one's for Queens Guard, and House of Judgement.

They could have exclusive rewards for each one. MKX had the same problem as well at the start where special forces weren't winning anything but eventually they started winning because people wanted the faction fatality.

I like this. A lot. It bring back a sense of purpose rather than just senselessly getting the best gear from the hardest activities for what? Iron banner and too which barely even see the light level differences. Add faction or clan wars and end game just got bigger and better. I'm all for this!!

It would give more of a purpose for regular crucible. Right now, rewards are meh and only good players play or casuals come in for legendary marks. This would give a bigger incentive for casuals to work towards getting that faction weapon or exotic.

Why not? Maybe giving a shader or a exotic to first place is a bit too much but rewards can be tweaked.

They've basically ignored what could be huge potential in-game. Hopefully we'll see something like this added before Year 4....
