The four Pacificators looked straight at Python, their luminescent eyes pointing straight to him, the glowing lights on their chests slightly illuminating the room.
"A whole race of crazy robots. And we need your help."
English
-
"Do we know where they're based out of?" He eyed the guards then looked back at the Admiral.
-
"Indeed we do. Do you know how many wars we've fought against them? This is the third one. Do you know how many lives were lost? Too many. The Delta Quadrant is where their homeworld is located."
-
"We'll stop them. I fought a faction five times before...tore apart the galaxy but we shut them down."
-
"I'm assembling a strike team comprised of your team and some of my best."
-
He nods. "Good. If you can't tell, we're mercs trying to make money....so would we get paid?"
-
"Well, I have a bargain. You help us, we help you. You can't reach your home without our help, and we can provide that help."
-
"Fair enough. Who's on this strike team?"
-
"The people from your team, Church and Archer."
-
He nods. "Do you know where they are? I like to meet the men I'm fighting with."
-
"Certainly. Gentlemen?" On cue, two men entered the room. One of them was wearing similar attire to the Pacificators, save from one detail. There were no lights on his helmet. Only a strange paint job on the visor and the three lights on his chest were white as well... On his back, the CPND Logo, but at the bottom instead was written "Si vis pacem, para bellum." And his identification was all replaced by one word. Punisher. As for the second one, he was something Python had never seen before. The sight of the amazing soldier filled him with a strange feeling of safety, yet also a certain fear. His armour shone with the light of the sun, and the soft orange lights dimly lit his armour. He held his weapon underarm, while a peculiar carving adorned his chest. Celestial Commodore Archer.
-
He shook their hands then crossed his arms, looking down at them. "I'm Python. Good to be fighting with you guys."
-
"Sir, why do we have to fight with Mercenaries?" Archer pronounced the words with an immense disdain. "Because we need a different approach to fight the Borgs. We can't keep using the old method, it simply pushes back the problem."
-
"Borgs? How long have you been fighting them?" Python eyes the soldiers then looked back at the Admiral, waiting for an answer.
-
"For thousands of years. This is their third incursion. So far, we've managed to beat them by the skin of our teeth, but this time, they're back in force. Look out there. You see all these ships? This was our first ever battle against them. We were so unprepared back then... We defeated them because they underestimated us. The second time around, they took us by surprise, but we were more... Equipped. They found themselves fighting defensively, not offensively. Now, this is the third war. Both sides are prepared. And they have a trick up their sleeve... A full briefing will be given to you and your crewmates soon."
