Because storm caller is a no skill super, the only ones easier to get kills with are the two true panic supers, fist of panic and panic bomb when used improperly as panics. Personally I think it needs adjusting on some level with its kill potential, the armor is perfect. They can die when you team fire them down(for some reason, scrubs couldn't make this concept apply when they saw a sunbreaker) and if they don't use it to cross the battlefield, but as a room clear technique on the objective, they can cause mass devastation. What do I think needs to be done?! Idk, I'm not a sandbox designer, but I just get burnt by it as I cannot stand how little skill it takes to hold a trigger with a ridiculous chain capability which then makes it impossible to scatter and if you happen to run away in time, they're faster than you(a keen scout agility hunter). The only way I escape their speed and range is exploiting my Titan skate, and a cheese shouldn't be the only defense in a 1v1. My ability to see the glowing name, memory of what element his melee or grenade was when he killed me, and thought process of running away since I'm caught out alone should justify my living... Edit: And golden gun has a received some nerfing, as people say it's best super based exotic is almost unusable. Blade dancer is broken(though I've never seen these issues they say exists). If you're going to call for a nerf, attack nightsalker with shade step, two grenades, op corner striking grenades, graviton and keep scout allowing you to essentially see through walls, and a 3 shot super which if you miss, is a destructive tool that can still screw the enemy with tether. And longer lasting grenades. But then they change the entire perk load out and they're orb gods in pve.

  • There has to be a satire tag here.... beyond the initial radius of popping their super *which if ur right next to any super ur dead, * they travel on the ground arms extended, where a sniper head shot or simple shotgun to the head and melee can pretty much instant kill them. They can blink.... at major cost to their super time. It's a traveling short range super with perks built around it. Stay outside the radius and they fall extremely quickly

  • Again I understand the simple concept of shoot the guy and he's down, I try to avoid a shotgun because well, he has a mild advantage.

  • See you can't really safely shoot down fist of panic, titan bubble, hammer of sol, Nova bomb, gunslinger.... but you can easily gun down an incoming storm caller

  • Gunslinger you can, and hammer, I mean, if the fire team fans out and focuses fire, the hammer has no chance. I think honestly it suffered from the hype, and when people saw it for the first time they did a 180 and booked it only to catch a hammer in the ass. Nobody ever shot at the thing. Rare occasions I was gunned down by a team of 6 with only one kill to show due to them making the most imminent threat a priority. The two panic supers have low kill potential compared to mobile supers. And idk why you brought the zero kill super into your supporting argument, or maybe I missed the point behind it. You don't have to try and defend the super in itself of storm caller against me as I don't think it needs to be nerfed, just the manner it's used because it seems to take a minimal amount of effort more than a panic super

  • Sorry I interpreted it as needing nerfed... but it's honestly less mobile than some people think :/

  • Why should a super require skill? A super should allow you to kill easier. It's just that the community has too much power of influence that whenever something kills them, they call for a nerf. HoS only needed tweaking. Maybe adjust it's damage resistance, and then it's fine. But the community got so salty when Titans got an actually effective super that it was nerfed too much. Bungie has no choice but to appease the community. Some things sometimes do require nerfs. But when anything that becomes popular targeted, theirs no stopping it. Why would people want to nerf snipers? That's actually not an easy weapon to use. It's just that the community is so salty that most people got good with it while they suck at it. My rant ends here.

Golden gun, the bow, bubble(placement), arc blade, hammer, radiant skin, all require you to pop it at eight times as a early deployment will kill you, but then you have to actually place the killing component on a target and land the hit. Storm caller is just dee-dee-dee spam lightning for effect... Sniper and mida, need a nerf in my eyes because they're over used due to their complete balance lol, I don't enjoy the slow pace, but there's no legitimate issue with them, maybe unflinching is too good and needs to be looked at. Really bungie needs to stop nerfing everything, bring all guns into .5 seconds of ttk, enabling skilled players to get the advantage and secure the kill against a weapon with lower ttk by map awareness. And leave supers alone. They are supposed to be broken. And each super has a counter. Even the previous rendition of hos was no match for that purple ball of tether...

  • Using stormtrance is actually harder than it looks. Of course I don't mean that it takes skill, but the controls feel VERY heavy. I was surprised when I used it on my low level warlock. It's hard to get someone when that continuously get cover. Sure, the super doesn't require much aiming, but if the target isn't within range and in the open to you, the Lightning can't get him. (Unless you chain lightning them from a different enemy, but that's not as effective.)

  • Yeah, those who pop it by heavy in frontier pay a heavy price, but those inside buildings are like a damn Thor
