Explain Me This - Concerning Sniper Rifles

So I like almost all of the gunplay of Destiny atm - the way they set things up is going well. Of course, this isn't mentioning the constant buffs and stuff, but I digress. The topic of this is Sniper Rifles. Why does the Sniper Rifle not sway when ADS'd? Even worse, it doesn't do so when moving! It makes things like drag scoping a breeze and can undoubtedly make for a fun time for a wielder. BUT STILL IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE I would've been able accept the whole "Guardians are badass in their own right, and thus can hold it steady like that" since its supported by a particular rare sniper rifle's text: "Guardians eschew a weapon's bipod - a tool for those without preternatural gifts for war." Considering this canon, it could explain why Guardians, seemingly normal people resurrected from the dead, can fight so well - they have a gift for that kind of thing. HOWEVER, one piece of canon debunks this entire theory! - Jeez, I feel like MatPat from Game Theory here - The No Land Beyond. Look at how it operates! When you move side-to-side, it clearly sways back and forth - a product of the Guardian being unable to hold it up correctly. This proves that Guardians don't have that preternatural gift - or does it? Maybe this preternatural gift isn't actually talking about the lack of gun sway, but rather the fact that Guardians can fire huge weapons of war while standing up. You see, most soldiers in real life today operate guns like sniper rifles while on the ground - with a bipod However, ingame we clearly see Guardians not only operating the beefiest of rifles (cough - Black Spindle - cough) with ease while standing up, but also guns that the biggest enemies use - such as the Scorch Cannon. This "preternatural gift" can also thus be applied to the No Land Beyond - It's a rifle that, judging by its stability, probably packs a punch on the wearer. And yet, we still see our Guardian running about, ripping face with it in the Crucible. So, we've debunked what's seemingly the only information supporting a Guardian's lack of gun sway when ADS'ing a Sniper Rifle. Explain me this, then, Guardians - why do Sniper Rifles not sway? I wouldn't mind the lack of sway in other, smaller guns, since they don't have the weight of a sniper rifle - I mean, have you seen how heavy they are in Cayde's book? They're insane! EDIT: "You want realistic weapon sway in a game about space magic and shooting aliens" - Partially so. It seems like little to ask for in comparison to what most people want from Bungie. That being said, though, I want to put more stuff here. For one, I found out that the NLB also has the unnatural stability. If you don't move and simply ADS, the gun stays still the entire time. It's when you move that it sways - and yet, the other snipers can be completely still even then.

 • In other games, there is scope sway because many of the "high-impact snipers" can one-shot to the chest (there are some in COD that one-shot to the KNEE or above). This means that you don't have to be as accurate and land the headshot, whereas in Destiny you do, which is why scope sway isn't in Destiny. If there was scope sway, it would quite literally be almost impossible to play effectively with a sniper unless you just went for body shots, which would become the new meta. I would say it's balanced rn.
