"That's alright, I suppose. If there's one thing we learn out there, it's never to be too trusting. Now, I'm sure both of you have a lot of questions, so I'll try my best to answer them."

*Icier looks to Silver, and Silver nods to him. Icier steps forward, his voice is moderately deeper than Silver's, and almost sounds slightly mechanical "Okay. Let's start with what those things that attacked us were?"-Icier
-
"Those were your typical Borgaan sentries. Although they were packing a bit more punch than usual, I'll give them that. This is the third Borgaan resurgence. And hopefully, it will be the last one. We met the Borgaan in the young days of the Order, when we were still harmless explorers and diplomats. They showed us how foolish we were. That our Utopian ideals meant nothing without a strong arm to defend it. Look outside. You see these ships? RCS Castillo, RCS Pyrra, RCS Valorum, RCS Celest, RCS Farragut, RCS Kirk, RCS Galiffrey, RCS Sisko, RCS Thunder, RCS Order, RCS Nimbus, RCS Johanssen, RCS Lakeshmi, and the list goes on. Every admiral of this Order will know by heart the name of these fourteen-thousand-nine-hundred-and-ninety-nine ships. My Ancestor was there. Helmsman of the RCS Calypso. The only ship that ever made it out of this battle."
-
"I see. Interesting."-Icier *Icier nods to Silver, and Silver speaks "You called the cruiser Cyprus is on the 'Monument.' Why? And how did it get all the way here from the Milky Way Galaxy?"-Silver
-
"The RCS Picard was the first and last of the Odyssey-Class long range exploration vessels. It was on a five year long mission to explore your Milky Way Galaxy. After ten years of no response, the Picard and it's crew were reported Missing in Action. A monument was constructed to the ship and it's crew. The guys were real pioneers, and an inspiration for us all. To see it reappear twenty-thousand years later in the middle of a battle isn't exactly what I call rejoicing though." He chuckles.
-
*Silver looks surprised, as if he never expected to hear of that ship again "The Alliance, the people I work for long before I met Cyprus, found a ship with the name Picard engraved on it a few thousand years ago. We believed the people that created it were extinct."-Silver *Icier speaks again "How did this 'monument' get in to the Milky Way?"-Icier
-
"Transwarp Engines. They cut a hole through the fabric of space and time at two distinct spots, one for entry and the other for exit. Travelling the wormhole itself takes some time, but a lot less than doing it with basic warp engines."
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 12/26/2015 7:59:47 PM"Wormhole tech? That is most interesting."-Silver *Icier looks around, analyzing everything he sees. Silver speaks again "Are these drives still used, and, if so, is it possible for you to equip our ships with them?"-Silver
-
"I'm afraid not, giving augmenting technology to unknown species is a violation of one of our prime directives."
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 12/27/2015 3:51:35 AM*Icier looks to Silver with disappointment "Calling us an unknown race. Can't he see you are both humanoid enough?"-Icier(whispering to Silver) *Silver ignores Icier and looks to the Admiral "Admiral, I know you think you are helping us somehow by sticking to your morals, but it isn't helping. The Milky Way is in a state of chaos. Beings of powerful evil are popping up all over it, killing everyone around them. Cyprus is the only thing that can stop them. If we can't get back quickly, there may not be a Milky Way to return to."-Silver
-
lol they aren't humans.
"It's Pyrrian law. If we give unimaginably powerful weaponry and technology to people that have barely invented the disruptor, what happens then? Nobody can resist you. Nobody has the technology to stand up to you. And then what happens? You become a dictatorship. Everyone finds themselves below you. Proclaim yourselves the absolute masters of this universe. A similar scenario happened in our early days. We ended up having a civil war on our hands that threatened the entire Celestial Expanse. And we won't have that again. We can never allow ourselves to influence the development of other galaxies. How long before I have to fight against you?"
-
"You won't have to. All I'm asking for is a way home, not weapons of mass destruction."-Silver *Icier looks even more agitated "From what I can tell, the enemies you fought earlier were ripping your ships apart. Perhaps, if we help you fight those Borgians, could you provide us transport back to our Galaxy?"-Icier
-
"That sounds fair. This is the third time they've come out of the shadows. And I do intent to make it the last."
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 12/27/2015 4:52:51 AM*Silver looks to Icier with a smirk, then turns to the Admiral "Thank you. I'll get to work on my fighter shortly."-Silver *they leave the bridge, and begin to head to the hanger
-
"Wow. They left without even hearing my proposal." The Admiral chuckles to himself as he takes a drink of Namekian Ale from the replicator.
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 12/27/2015 4:53:42 AM*before the doors close, Silver walks back in, Icier not far behind "Proposal for what?"-Silver
-
"It's obvious we're the only people here capable of bringing you home. And, I need you lot to strike the Borgs where it hurts. Seems we have a compromise on our hands."
-
"Let me guess. You are making a Strike Team consisting of Cyprus team members and possibly some of your troops."-Icier
-
"Exactly. See? You're getting the hang of it." He smiles.
-
*Icier looks back to Silver. They both nod to each other, then look back at the Admiral "We're in. What's the target?"-Silver
-
"It'll be in the report. For now, just get back to your ship. Or be my guest, take a little visit of our station."
-
"Thank you."-Silver *the two of them head out to explore the station
