A few questions with some of these:
3. Strafe, strafe, strafe… 4. Did I mention strafe ?
What is "strafe"?
5. Do not run except if you can't see anyone and your radar is empty, never in hallways, small areas…
Are shotguns an exception or no?
6. Close or long range, mostly your choice but depending on the map a sniper can do way better than a shotgun and vice-versa…
Which is, of course, if you can snipe. I have tried and tried with the highest aim assist and scrubbiest snipers out there and just can't master sniping. I'm lucky if I hit a two body shot. Yes, it is preference. However, is there a map that snipers are basically the only secondary worth using?
7. Never engage in a fight you can't possibly win, run than hide and pick them up one by one.
What if there's nowhere near enough to hide. Often, when against multiple assailants, I'll be picked off in a few shots. Would you recommend trying to get behind any sort of cover, jumping around, fighting, or what when there's nowhere to go?
8. Stick with your team or in rumble stick to 2 walls one in your pack and one on your side with an easy escape/hiding point.
Not really a question, but this one is difficult. Often, the teams split up to individuals trying to solo it. As for rumble, I'll try that.
10. Corners are your friends, hug them.
Why? Especially after the sniper comment earlier, why hug corners?
11. If you have max agility (congratulations you chose the right class), use it, jump.
Is there any reason to have max agility over armor or recovery?
13. Learn how your enemy plays, if they spread or stick together, run, throw grenades when they panic…
Do you mind PMing me the rest of this? Like, how to adapt. Say they're spreading. Great, so what? What technique does that entail? Etc. If you could PM me some tricks and how to tell, that'd be super great.
14. Sometimes a rare weapon does better than an exotics in the crucible (except trials of course), look at the perks before you dismantle it. ALWAYS look at those perks, the same weapon with different perks can do a massive difference.
Most rares I've seen are lacking, if nothing else, in the ammo department. As well, I never truly know which perks are good for which weapon. Not sure how to learn that though.
15. You got a strangers rifle when you finished the main vanilla story line, use it.
Over NTTE?
16. Pick a target and stick with it, you're not gonna kill that bastard in your back, keep shooting.
So target one person? Only one? Is that what this tip is? --- I know I'm bad at crucible, but I can agree with a lot of these. Very rarely has lag ever been a serious problem for me (only one IB that I can remember. Worst lag is SRL). Most of my deaths are on me (#1). And I do wish I could enjoy crucible enough to grind it endlessly for practice (#2). I get ammo whenever I can (#9). I do save my super, but unfortunately I'll wait too long to use it (#12). Good tips, just need some clarification. I truly do want to get better at PvP and think these will help. Also, I apologize if I sound sarcastic.

Thank you for your genuine interest :) What is "strafe"? http://lmgtfy.com/?q=strafe+destiny Are shotguns an exception or no? Depends on the shotgun, you can snipe with the invective. Which is, of course, if you can snipe. I have tried and tried with the highest aim assist and scrubbiest snipers out there and just can't master sniping. I'm lucky if I hit a two body shot. Yes, it is preference. However, is there a map that snipers are basically the only secondary worth using? There are some big maps on the moon notably and earth that are huge and basically empty so it would be a bad idea to use a shotgun. You can always get kills but you should choose the weapon that enables you to get the most kills. Training makes you better, nobody is born a pro sbiper, try it on pve and try and headshot multiple enemies at the time, patrol is a good place to do that What if there's nowhere near enough to hide. Often, when against multiple assailants, I'll be picked off in a few shots. Would you recommend trying to get behind any sort of cover, jumping around, fighting, or what when there's nowhere to go? Than it's all good because you didn't engage, you were engaged. Call your team for help and pick the easiest target or the first you shot to try and at least score an assist. Fusion and other sticky grenades do wonders in that kind of situations but don't use them as a panic button, offensively or to make them back up, never because you have no time to shoot, if you have no time to shoot keep your grenade. Not really a question, but this one is difficult. Often, the teams split up to individuals trying to solo it. As for rumble, I'll try that. Why? Especially after the sniper comment earlier, why hug corners? Let me clarify, if you hug a corner than get shot from far you can strafe and confuse the enemy by hugging the corner again They always expect you to go where there is space, not to hug a wall. Is there any reason to have max agility over armor or recovery? Depends on you play style but I don't find armor specially useful in pvp you might need recovery but personally I prefer to be able to jump and run away than hide and recover. Either way you need to get away, most often great movement speed can help but I'm a speedrunner so that might be why this is easier for me Do you mind PMing me the rest of this? Like, how to adapt. Say they're spreading. Great, so what? What technique does that entail? Etc. If you could PM me some tricks and how to tell, that'd be super great. I mind this is already taking time, sorry don't take that personally but I prefer not to be a personal coach… If they spread out that's already an observation you can take advantage of. Look at their play style, what weapon they use, if they jump, stick together… It might help you to predict the outcome of a fight… Most rares I've seen are lacking, if nothing else, in the ammo department. As well, I never truly know which perks are good for which weapon. Not sure how to learn that though. Range, stability and impact are great for every weapon. For the perks the best is that you tried them out for yourself and see what works for you, you might be surprised… Over NTTE? Except if it is trials, yes. It's easier to get and you are rewarded for missing shots not for hitting shots. If you hit precision shots you wont need more ammo anyway. So target one person? Only one? Is that what this tip is? If you try to kill two persons at the time and they both spot you you will die. You might sometimes have no choice, in that case pick either the target with lowest health if there is one or the furthest because you can kill the other with a melee and avoid being shot by jumping. Hope it helped.
