Welcome to the Destiny, Expanded Universe : Master Thread. What is the Expanded Universe? The Expanded Universe is a combination of Grimoire Lore, Semi-Canon FanFiction, and Forum Feedback wrapped into a Novel Project. The story will follow an up-and-coming Strike Fireteam (3) as they become Guardians and venture out into the world, learning things along the way. The Plot Climaxes (such as Atheon, Crota, Skolas, Oryx, ect) have been taken up by REAL GUARDIANS who play this game. [/url] These Guardians are the Raid Fireteam (6) that will revolve around the CANON parts of Destiny. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [b]There are tons of grimoire cards, and lots of potential for this game, but I felt a lot is lost on *insert any issue*; so I took it upon myself to create the Destiny Expanded Universe.[/b] EDIT : The above line seems to have sparked an outrage of jealousy, salt, and misinformation from some new people that have finally caught up to my trending threads that have been on the front page of Destiny Forum since the dawn of December. Been told I am arrogant, scheming, plagiarizing, and/or terrible writer. I have only released a single, small chapter. I have had *almost* universal negative feedback since it debuted (even though I have been prepping it for weeks), and if this continues I will be canceling the project altogether. While it is a disservice to my supporters, and a loss for the BungieNet community, I'm not going to lay myself out to slaughter. I know how cancerous and vile these forums are. If anyone remembers my posting days from last year, you'll remember how foul and hateful and angry I'd get. I have been trying SO VERY HARD to be clean, polite, and honest this month, but it's getting harder and harder the more guff I get from people. If the project is cancelled, it will be reborn on a proper, collaborated website with other such authors. It just won't be here. Also, while it is no one's business, and not my prerogative to even mention, I'm obviously not the forefather of Destiny Lore, nor the first person to ever write an organized fanfiction. To take one single line I have written completely out of context and then insult me until nothing in my feed is anything but hate mail/messages is beyond childish. If any of you are authors that are writing to me such things, you are NOT true literaturites and I don't respect you as writers either way. I was insanely excited when this debuted, and that was for the fans and the helpers that made this possible for NEARLY A MONTH STRONG, and yes, I'm beyond pissed that I've gotten nothing but trash at launch. The current plan is to have a chapter come out every single day. It's a big goal, and I'm hoping I can fill it. If worst comes to worst, I'll never delay a release more than one week. But hoping it never comes to that. All links to all chapters (in order) will be found here, and edited as need be for the Character Count. Should I ever change the Canon Fireteam or require assistance from other writers, those updates will be posted here.
