The Warp engines flickered, along with the rest of the systems, until they finally stabilized. The lights across the ship turned back on, returning the ship to normal.
Last Entry: Stardate: 11234.6. Please verify current stardate.
The ship is violently thrown out of Warpspace, a result of the inhibiting field launched by the absolutely massive dreadnought that flew before it. Barely avoiding a collision, the ship turned to starboard. It was only then that Python realized where they had arrived, and that was right in the middle of a huge battle. Beams and pulse waves of all kinds were being fired left and right, while entire fleets of ships in varying design, size and shape moved around in different attack patterns and evasive maneuvers. A red warning flashed on the bridge's screen. They were being hailed.
-
He sends out a transmission on all channels, trying to make sense of the matter between the two sides of the fight. "Whoa, whoa, hold up guys. Why are we shot at and hailed?"

...
Hail = communication
