The Third Night: Heroic Rescue 7:40 PM After the revelation that Nate was forced to make it look like he was killed by the Horned Raxomajump in the cave by a raider group that kidnapped him, their headquarters bustle. Heroin is shot, weed is smoked, and hookers dance for some of the men. Many deals are brought down there, guns are delivered and Nate is in the center of it all. he is in a makeshift stockade with a black eye and busted lips, A horrible splinters digs into his neck. The Horned Raxomajump had disseapered, and if the team should take it down, Nate's extensive biological intellect would prove superiorly handy.
Open
• JT is watching from a nearby hill after fishing his bone Exo from the bottom of a lake, and he Looks at the numbers, as well as their gear, figuring he would win at a CQC battle

  • A man walks in, looking oddly like them, bone tools, and clothing made of hides and bones. You notice something in him though: a three claw scar on his back.

  • Just under a mile away, cloaking and dampening systems engaged, the man in black with the two-toned mask stood watching the compound through a high-powered scope atop a large sniper rifle. His HUD's night vision filter made picking up the details much easier. Scanning the area, he marked all of the men on his HUD, and noted their patterns and their armaments. It was highly unlikely any of them had any weaponry capable of hitting his position, and with his rifle's muzzle break and the distance, he knew they wouldn't even hear him. Silently, he watched and waited.

There is an exposed panel that controls the lights of the outpost.

  • He moves his optic towards it, and checks windspeed and distance on the rifle's HUD-integrated ballistics computer. Making the proper adjustment, he fires, the sound lost in the forest and to the distance between him and the outpost. The .50 caliber tungsten carbide round lands directly where it was supposed to: in the panel. The panel shatters as the bullet rips through it and the wall behind it.

  • All of the lights turn out, and the only light is the dim glow of blunts. Everyone is confused and vulnerable.

  • He continues to watch the scene through his scope. He returns to scanning for those out the sight range of their comrades, scanning the walls and sentry posts first.

  • A few machine turrets can be seen, although inactive.

  • While almost positive that the turrets were disabled with the lights due to his shot on the junction box, he zooms in and looks for any sort of power source linking the turrets in order to disable them.

  • It comes from the control room, separate from the lights. James is in there, 20 men aiming AK-12s at him.

  • He looks back to the turrets, looking to see if a collateral is possible.

  • Letting his breath out, he fires, one shot, a .50 caliber tungsten carbide armor-piercing round. With its sound again masked by the jungle and the distance, the shot sails through the air and rips through all three turrets, shredding their internal systems and rendering them inoperable.

  • The defenses are now all gone, exept for the men aiming their guns at James in the control room. Nate laughs.

  • Firing into the room would most likely result in Nate being killed. As fast a shot as he was, he knew that they'd kill him as soon as his first shot killed several of them. He had to find a way to distract them. He moves his scope over the base, looking for a way to draw them out.

  • There is a large oil canister to the far side of the outpost.

  • Bingo. He reloads the rifle, loading in a sabot shot, then a clip full of incendiary phosphorus-tipped rounds. Looking to the barrel, he makes his shot. The small sabot screams through the air, making no sound until it rips through the metal oil canister, rocking it and knocking it on its side. Gasoline begins leaking out over a large swath of ground.

The guards, including their leader, a fat slimeball, walk out and look at the punctured canister.

  • He waits for them to walk into the area covered in gasoline, and then he fires a phosphorus-tipped incendiary round into the center of the gasoline pool. It ignites in a fireball, setting the men on fire.
