Edited by cabledash30: 12/23/2015 8:42:34 PMI fixed the post. Thank you for your corrections. I'm having a conversation with the next science teacher I see. Theory. Theories explain how, laws state that something is. Theories can be amended or completely abolished.
-
Laws can be amended or disproved as well.
-
Theory. Cannot be proven and made into law, therefor perma-theory. Until all is known to all.
A theory does not graduate after meeting a certain amount of evidence. It is always a theory. That's how science works.
-
Theories are not below laws. They are completely different things.
-
What is a proven theory called then?
-
A theory is as close to 'proof' as science gets. A testable idea that has yet to be confirmed is called a hypothesis.
-
A theory. Ta Da. That's science.
-
-
It's a fact, explained by a scientific theory.
-
Only fact if u believe it is.
-
That's not how facts work you clown. A scientific theory is supported by facts. Let me make this easier for you scientifically illiterate people....facts are gathered, then the theory is developed based on those facts. There is no "believing" facts to be true or not. Facts are the truth whether you decide to accept them or not.
-
No... I have God given free will to decide for my self what I want. If I so choose to reject a "fact " then I will. And it is not then a fact to me.
-
If you reject facts you are rejecting the real world.
-
I reject gravity therefore gravity does not exist. Nice logic
-
If That's what u truly believe then no one can tell u otherwise. Ur not wrong. Only by your own discovery will u find that we are correct and Gravity is real.

This post is so moronic I actually feel bad for you. How much stupid can one person have in their brain? Whether you choose to believe something or not does not make something untrue. That's like saying "I believe I can fly," which isn't true but it's true to me because I believe it.
-
It's a fact to the masses that the color Red has a specific look and that look through science is describes and defined as a specific wavelength on the light spectrum. -FACT My friend is color blind. He could give two flying F cks what science says because Red in his eyes is more like XXXXX. He therefore does believe that the fact through science and the masses is a fact. How could he. He can't see the color we all claim. He,by gods design reject it's being a fact and make claim that what he sees is fact.
-
Again, you are not helping your pitiful cause. He is color blind so certain colors do not look how they should to him. It doesn't change the color red, he just can't see it. You REALLY need to go back to school.
-
How does going back to school change perceptions. It's funny because traditionally the way it goes with science discovery is that they do what I have done here. You don't know what that is yet. But it's the idea that we can challenge the "normal" we can reject things to prove what we want. This has been done all through history and amazingly we see this today. Thankfully we have things in our lives today that other wise wouldn't exist if someone didn't decide that the normal wasn't good enough. That they knew they were correct. Scientific fact sets the basis for how things are established. It's not the be all end all of things that want to stem from them. I am an engineer. School teaches u the basic fundamentals that govern design. They don't stop you from exceeding them.
-
A lot of words with no substance. I'm done talking to you, you are clearly lacking in the intellectual department.
-
You're insulting behavior masks a need for superiority.
-
I'm superior to anyone who believes the nonsense this clown wrote. You are right. He literally does not know the difference between perceptions and facts.
