They ran into this issue before with numerous exotics for all 3 classes in Vanilla..... I don't see why they didn't test and apply this prior to release.
Literally can't find a single shader that matches or pulls it together with TG on.... sad face.

I think they just wanted it to look like that and not change which is just silly. The colour they chose was terrible.
