"Good?" [i] He asks, his voice low and calming.[/i]

[i] He surprises her by stepping in and wrapping her in a hug, his embrace protective and nice.[/i] "Trust me, I get it."

[b]she's a but surprised by the hug bit hugs back[/b]

"I understand that we've all got demons Sam. But your past is your past, not your present." [i] He says into her hear, his arms around her.[/i]

"I do what I do to keep my mind off of the past"

"What happened in the past? You can tell me." [i] She can tell he genuinely means this.[/i]

"I... I don't want to talk about it"

"Alright Sam, that's okay." [i] He says soothingly, rubbing her back lightly.[/i]

[b]she calms down[/b] "I think I'm ok now"

[i] He steps back, looking into her eyes with a smile.[/i] "Yeah?"

[b]she sits down on the edge of the roof[/b]
