This type of greed has ruined many, many MMO's in the past. It will be the downfall of a game like Destiny as well. While I know and fully recognize the Destiny isn't a "pure" MMO, it's attempting to mix the best parts of an FPS with an MMO, so it suffers the same benefits and threats that both of those genre face. P2W kills MMO's, that's a well proven fact. It will end Destiny as well.
