"After you" she says, smiling
-
"Alright." She walks up to the door and opens it.
-
she enters
-
Ok, awkward. Just went to look for pictures of the New York FAO Schwarz, only to find out it closed back in July. Great. Now there's no major toy stores left in New York, since the Toys R Us in Times Square closed down as well this year.
They are greeted by the sight of toys, stuffed animals, and more of all shapes and sizes. There are employees demonstrating various items and racing RC cars with customers around the store.
-
"Toy store?" she asks, slight smile on her face
-
"What? This place is awesome! When was the last time you saw a store that allowed employees to have fun alongside customers?"
-
"Never seen one, that's why I'm smiling"
-
"Come on, let's go have some fun!"
-
She starts walking through the aisles, playing with shit
-
"Ooooooo." Reni is looking at a scale model of New York City made out of Legos.
-
Nat walks over "Impressive"
-
"Yeah. I wish I could build something like that."
-
"Well, the maker certainly had some skills"
-
"Indeed. Hey, let's see who can find Lance's tower first! Ready? Go!" Her eyes start darting across the model city.
-
She also tries to find it, eventually spotting it but not recognizing it
-
"Is that it?" She points to a building much taller than Lance's.
-
"Too tall"
-
"Dang it. It all looks so big from the ground."
-
"Yeah" she says, and she finds it. "that one"
-
"Aw, dang it!"
-
"Good try"
-
"Yeah. Not good enough, though."
-
"Eh. It's alright"
-
"Yeah. Hey, see that?" She points to a section of floor on the level below them that is made to look like a bunch of giant piano keys. "Race you there." She dashes off toward the nearest set of stairs.
-
She runs there, jumping off a rail and landing on her feet there
