Kojima reported to be starting a new studio

Japanese newspaper Nikkei reports that Kojima has finally, officially left Konami along with other Konami employees and are starting a new studio. It is also reported that Kojima and crew are in talks with Sony to have their first game debut on PlayStation consoles.

It's great that he left and didn't end up being relegated to the pachinko mines know as Konami. It's great that he also got Yoji Shinkawa with him on the team. Their website is also up if you would like to check it out. There isn't much yet though. http://www.kojimaproductions.jp/sp/
