Nailed it again but it'll never happen. Bungie wants to pretend Destiny has competitive pvp.

It was competitive at launch though. The problem is that everyone want to shoehorn it into a Halo definition of competitive.

Precisely. Destiny has an identity crisis.

What made it unique was that we used our own weapons and that it was possible to be outgunned and need to rely more on character attributes and skill. Rather than embrace that different but insanely fun gameplay they'd created, Bungie crapped their pants and started trying to level everything in a game that's not built to be level.
