Thorn was nerfed because of full teams of Thorn users in Trials. Bungie said so themselves. I've never seen one weapon proliferate a battlefield in normal Crucible or IB. It's always a wide range flashing by when dying. Trials is the place where people die to one weapon an entire match and crap their pants over it. BTW agree Bungie's "testing" is worthless. How can you balance anything in sterile test environments and why adjust everything at once instead of one thing at a time?

  • Thorn was nerfed because it was on a higher level than any gun in the game except tlw. Thorns ttk was too low for this game and was too powerful in every aspect of pvp, not just trials.

Bungie also put on the back of their vanilla box "destiny is a next generation first person shooter, with RICH CINEMATIC STORYTELLING set in HUGE WORLDS TO EXPLORE. Create and customize your guardian. Defeat your enemies. Become legend in intense cooperative, competitive, and innovative public game play modes." If you believe what bungie says then you are a naive person that is all I gotta say to you. Bungie also said it was a typo on the recent auto rifle patch notes which everyone knows is bullshit.
