You do realize that having a constantly bad connection is also cheating. If you know you're connection is shit and is going to cause lag do t play pvp games. And companies have the option of reporting bad connections because they can tell the difference. If enough complaints come through them they look into it and they ban those that are lag switching or have constantly shit Internet and are ruining the game for the other players.

Knowingly playing with a connection that's going to make you I killable and hand you the game is cheating. Hell if I have a few games in a row where my connection is bad I'll stop playing for the night because I realize that my connection could be giving my team the leg up. And as I know I have a bad connection that's consistently bad which causes lag and influence games in my favor then continuing to play with that lag would be cheating as I'm knowingly playing the game with an unfair advantage caused by my connection. So playing with a knowingly constantly bad internet connection is cheating as it tampers with how the game is supposed to be. It's also called not being an ass and ruining everyone else's fun but that's not really going to stop in destiny until there's no more SBMM.

Lag doesn't have to make you invulnerable for it to be causing the other team to loose. You can still be killable and cheating.

Incorrect. You can be cheating and killable. Like say you're lagging and someone shoots a gg at you. Due to lag the person shooting doesn't see you die and shoots a second time and finally the first hit registers. They've wasted a shot they wouldn't if you had a good connection so making them waste a shot which would have been another kill is cheating. Same goes for any shooting in a game that would be effected.
