I love it, however I don't get how the canister works. I've used it many times and it doesn't really matter whether I hold the trigger or let go. The canister always drops once I've hit the target.

Don't let the rocket explode itself because it will bounce off stuff and make it inaccurate.

Yeah it will drop when it hits the target. Just think of it as a proximity addition. If there are enemies in front of what you are shooting at (let's say the tank on the bond brothers strike), you would shoot at the tank, let the canister go a little bit before that. Now you've done damage to the tank (explosion) and the enemies in front (the fire)
