What about scufs?

For a long time I have been considering purchasing a scuf, the biggest reason is because the default controllers that play stations come with are not the greatest quality. Don't get me wrong they last a while but at the moment I play with no rubber on the left thumb stick and the right trigger somewhat broken. The reason I have not purchased one however is due to how the community sees them, I've heard many say that they are cheating almost like using a mouse and keyboard(which I do not see as cheating but some do). I also respect people that have a lot of skill but don't use a scuf, one example would be RealKraftyy (please don't try and fight with me on this, it is simply not what this post is about) , so I just want to know what the community thinks and if I could get any suggestions, thanks. EDIT:If I already play "jumper", I would have to reconfigure the paddles, or switch back to default correct? (Also a big decision, because I love my jumper)

  • Well, scufs are allowed in gaming competitions because they don't improve anything other than how you press your buttons. If you want your aim, jump and duck to be better than go ahead. I use one.
