I am level 25, not done much story quest. I haven't found valentine yet. But I haven't used a companion or really tried power armour. Am I missing out?

Power armor is fun but that's about it, now Nick Valentine.... Oh man you are missing out. Everything about him says true noir detective with a side of him joking about his situation.

Not really power armor doesnt do much stuff special untill maxed out science and armorer
