"Spectacular" wouldn't really be my way of putting it.
I would've much rather seen the combination of Tripod + Pyromancer work on enemies that have been tethered with Shadowshot.
If I really want a boss killer, I'd rather save my exotic slot for Black Spindle or Sleeper Simulant. A legendary RL with awesome perks does the job just fine for crowd suppression.

The previous iteration of Dragon's Breath would have rendered blood bound on shadowshot moot due to its huge blast radius.
