And I still see no reason to come back after being abducted by Fallout 4, BO3, SW:Battlefront and Halo 5. I found myself having more fun with those titles than what I get from this game. :/ I was D1. Had no place in the beta, but watched closely as it developed. Nightfall after nightfall 3x a week, all Iron Banners, banged it out in the crucible and even raided numerous times until I got what I went in for. Hell I didn't get my Gjally til a week before HoW came out. Needless to say...I lost hope with EVERY DLC. Felt robbed when all my Year-1 gear was suddenly just shelf clutter, my hard earned VoG and DB gear reduced to figments of wasted hours. On top of the wallet burning, due to Vanilla and DLC becoming obsolete and utterly useless...the constant fix/breaking is atrocious...I find myself getting so heated in the crucible and found that if I were to play in another ToO event I might have an aneurysm. I'm the kind of player that usually just laughs it off or ends up shaking my head cause I either got outplayed or wasn't paying attention...but this...the lag, the exploits, bugs, constant re-balancing...I really do hate the game and not the player, 100% of the -blam!-ing time in Destiny. Bullshit happens but when it's due to game code and mechanics...that's just sad and infuriating. I had alot of faith in this game...and a tiny thread still keeps me from deleting it off my console...the Refer a Friend insulted that faith. A last ditch effort to regain player base right after new titles hit the market. You guy's at Bungie knew what was going on...you were and still are disappointing your loyal players...so you hope to gain fresher players who have no idea about the stress and difficulties the players of Year-1 had to go through. This game is still Beta (feels and looks that way)...Bungie wouldn't have scrapped/watered down/broke Year-1 content if this wasn't the case...they still have no idea what direction they want to go...and say that it's a player/developer experiance in the growth of a constantly changing game. Lest we forget...Bungie and Activision had a falling out and alot of content was either cut, changed or re-directed at the last moments of release...they had a finished idea and had to scrap it and claw up whatever they thought they could get away with. Year-1 to me...feels like we were left buying a beta and hoping the actual game will come. And in that essence...I'm still hoping...still waiting. Please Bungie...I don't want to close the door. [spoiler]This is not a bash thread...just a heartfelt realization that I haven't logged in to Destiny for over a month...and it's still the same annoying stuff that it's always been. It's a plea for them to suck it up, lose some time and money inorder to deliver what was once promised. If you want to insult and demean Bungie, take it elsewhere. This is but a sanctuary for the Guardians whom lost hope in the Light. [/spoiler]
