Consider this...the book glitch was probably a few lines of screwed up code that wouldn't have any impact on anything else in the game. When you have, as you say, a "game-breaking" glitch, Bungie has to first investigate the majorly screwed up code, figure out how to fix it in a way that won't mess up anything else, and then play test it to make sure it doesn't -blam!- anything up. You throw in a quick half ass patch on the heavy ammo glitch and it causes glitches to where people are getting double heavy or no heavy or whatever. It takes time to investigate [u]game-breaking glitches[/u] because there is [u]game-breaking code[/u] that has to be rewritten and fixed without -blam!-ing anything else up along the way.
