Uh, there are bugs in the Dragons Age games that have never been fixed.... at all..
And it took 8 months to fix Thorn because it takes time to compile data and test the fix. We're dealing with Weapon Tuning 2.0 because people whined about this and that in PvP and WT 1.0 went live before it was ready.

Doesn't Bungie have game testers? Don't they have ways to simulate the probability outcome of a game with all types of variables? Or am I making it sound too simple?

The only way to test it is to code it and run it for the best results
