Well it's not just their pockets in which they are saving but all the people who actually bought the book and would have complained if it hadn't. People actually spent money on the book, I'm pretty sure you couldn't buy the thorn (although that would be fairly cool)

  • This is assuming bungie cares about the players, they dont.

  • If they are all about money why aren't they selling the tinfoil hats that you and others are wearing?

  • Then they couldn't read our minds.

  • But, as you put it, they don't care about the players so... Why would they need to read your mind? Let that rattle around for awhile. When the answer gets around to your ass feel free to pull it out and post it.

  • If you think bungie cares about their players, you must be new or retarded.

  • I rate that answer 3/10. You could've done better with your conspiracy theory.

  • You're one of those with a closet deej shrine aren't you? The things that effect players are fixed months later. Things that effect bungie are fixed asap. Look at how long quiver took them alone. I wish I could say you're irritating me with you're poorly concocted desticle defense, but more so I pity that you weren't a blowjob, with this close minded thinking I feel sorry for anyone who has to interact with you on a regular basis.

  • This affected players, not their play experience but their wallets. People that bought the $10 book for he rewards while others got them for free means it was an issue of customer money. Once again, thanks for playing. Did you have fun?

  • If it was about the player experience alone, quiver wouldn't have taken 3 weeks to fix, other numerous issues that players provide both rational and irrational proposals for take months to address. Something allowing a paid item to be accessed for free though was fixed within hours. You will never ever make a sound argument here. I love Destiny, I have it on both ps4 and xbox with collectors taken king on both. However I have played so many other games with real community managers that interact and sympathize with those that pour all their free time into these games, and with the snarky comments from Deej and Cosmo as well as inattention to the gameplay issues in Destiny, only the truly foolish would ever believe that they care about their playerbase. I have also bought the book on both PS4 and xbone, wasn't salty that people got it for free, serves Bungie for being so poor in their nonstop flaws. You mistake me for upset that they don't care, I'm not. I'll throw my money at every cool sparrow and emote they put out because I enjoy those and I have 0 expectations for them to care what I or any other player have to say. TL;DR: you're a moron.

  • It's not player experience. It's players wallets. Did you not actually read what I wrote? CAN you even read?

  • It's doesn't effect players wallets at all.

  • If I pay $10 and someone gets the same thing for free from a glitch and were allowed to keep it it affects players wallets. It's not as if the store put it on sale after I had already bought it. This is someone stealing the item and the store just letting them. Of course that has to be fixed. Otherwise my purchase means nothing if hey we're going to let us steal it anyway.

  • So when players pay for a game, doesn't work as intended, the entire playerbase suffering because it doesn't effect bungie wallets cause they already got the money for the DLC, you think that means they care?

  • Except for the fact that the game does work as intended for 99. Recurring 9% for the rest of the game yeah. Oh quiver didn't work? Well that was an involved fix, one that didn't just need a pass check set on the item so that you could only wear the items if you passed. They had to find out why the pause menu, the literal base coding of the game, was interacting the way it was and then fix it. It wasn't as simple as fixing the infinite hammers that just reduced your ability to input the commands rapidly. The reason the hammers worked is you were essentially canceling the animations instantly but the hammer would have already left your hand, then you were reactivating it instantly as well meaning, if you got practiced enough, you could throw them with literal no downtime. Why do you think super energy didn't drain when throwing most of those hammers? Because of the cancellation before it actually activated.
