Clearly patching a weapon takes much more coding and manpower than implementing a simple lockout mechanism. Quit assuming everything is so easy.
Of course they want to protect their profits. They're a company and what company tolerates its profits being [i]stolen[/i] from them?

You mean the same way they stole from us and took our content we paid for and combined it to make up half the TTK DLC? -blam!- them and their profits. They wont see another dime out of me until i get back what they stole. And im not the only person that plays the game that refuses to give them anymore cash. BTW people need to stop reffering to them as Bungie they stopped being bungie the day they merged with Activison. They only keep the name around because it comes with fanboys. They are activison plain and simple nothing more.

They didn't steal anything from you. You do not "own" Destiny. Bungie didn't make you buy Destiny then steal the content from you. Just because you were disappointed with the result doesn't mean anything was "stolen" from you.

Actually considering i paid for a game and now i have a glorified demo i would say they did steal from me. I bought a game that contained dailies weeklies Nightfalls, vanguard heroics, story mission heroics, etc etc and now all of a sudden since the release of TTK DLC i have no access to any of that. Not to mention they want me to shell out another $40 for a DLC so i can get what i already paid for previously. If you dont think they stole from people your either stupid or you work for them. But dont sit there and try to tell people they didnt steal anything. And btw when i make a purchase and buy something its to own not to rent so yeah i do own the game or my copy of it at least.

They should put the manpower into addressing numerous issues in the game after srl is gone then shouldn't they? Same business practice applies where money is concerned

Examples of real issues they've fixed: the exotic engram farming exploit that happened when TTK first dropped. This current bug with the logbook. Being able to push off Atheon and the Templar. Examples of issues that don't need immediate addressing: no private matches. No dedicated servers. No new strikes or raids. No new story missions. They've fixed real issues before. Not having certain things in a game isn't necessarily a issue.

... Think there are WAY more issues than just mentioned. Hence why the userbase is declining with each announcement/update/dlc
