That's a terrible analogy. Thorn didn't threaten to kill this game whatsoever.

I don't know about terrible. Sure, it's quite an exaggeration, but the point still stands that if it is something Thursday benefits the customers, they brush it off, but if it is something that benefits their wallets, it's fixed immediately.
