"Be back in a minute guys!" [i] John calls as he touches Alex's shoulder, and they're suddenly on a store rooftop a few blocks away.[/i] "Sorry, but you're dad has more security than the president. And can I just get out what I have to say before you send them to fetch you and kill me?"

I know I said yes to us being together, but I wasn't thinking straight. And I was an even bigger asshole when I broke up with you. Your incredibly beautiful and sexy and awesome, but I didn't want to jump into anything I wasn't prepared for. I want us to still be friends ya know?" [i] He says, his eyes slightly downcast, his fingers running over the box in his pocket.[/i]
