The only reason I'm against this is because say they get captured, their torture will be much worse. AKA Sexual Abuse

There's a huge amount of -blam!- in the military. Not by the enemies mind you.

Edited by VoS Greed: 12/10/2015 8:12:23 PMI know, so I feel like being captured would be worse for them. Either some kind of Sexual Abuse or being sold into slavery
-
We don't have they many soldiers captured though, plus given that they meet the same requirements as men it's not like it will suddenly increase
-
I'm not saying that it's a high rate or that it will suddenly increase, but if it does happen, I think that's what those scums would resort to. I'm not trying to knock women, I just don't want to see them as scared as a -blam!- victim if something like that were to happen
-
They're worse things that can happen to you then getting -blam!-.
-
Men can be r@ped too. Do you have an asshole? Yes? Then you can also be r@ped.
I know r@pe doesn't require penetration, but I'm trying to explain it for this idiot.
-
Will it most likely happen to a male? No, just standard torture, but for women, it's more easily available and more likely to happen because that's how people think
-
Do you know that for a fact, and why is rape so much worse than "standard" torture? Oh, because beating people, electrocuting them, starving them, depriving them of sleep, waterboarding them, etc... That's totally standard, but the moment you include rape in that equation, suddenly it's so much worse? Rape is terrible, but I fail to understand why it is so exceptional that we should prevent women from serving purely to protect them from it, when we don't do that for other forms of torture. There are other, far more legitimate arguments for why we shouldn't put women in combat roles than this one.

If they get captured in the Middle East, they will very likely get auctioned as slaves with video going viral.

That happens to a large amount of soldiers regardless of gender.
