For me personally, a lot of my best writing is done when I'm listening to music. In fact I probably spend more time rearranging playlists and buying songs to construct the basic framework of a story, than I do on the actual writing. I especially like listening to Shinedown, Foo Fighters, LinkinPark, Halestorm, and Breaking Benjamin. Of course, my taste of music changes from one day to the next. Another part of my creative process comes from playing Destiny and the BS I talk about with the members of my fireteam (FJFSOM656 and Paradox1055). Because my writing style focuses so heavily on dialogue, I usually will try to go through the conversations I wrote as if they were the real thing. So right now I just want to thank them for putting up with that while we're doing Nightfall, bounties, Crucible, etc. FYI. I was listening to Shinedown while writing this.
