"You understand that, Tanya?" He looks at her.
-
She looks up, still looking worried
-
"You're gonna look different from now on, but you should be alright in the head."
-
She looks confused "What do you mean?"
-
"Like, on the outside, you're gonna look different. But mentally, you should be fine." He doesn't seem shocked by really much of anything.
-
She starts freaking out now "What the hell do you mean different?! That's not helping, Python!"
-
"Hey, just relax." He tries to calm her down. "I mean you're going to change physically. I don't know how but it's probably going to happen. Like your nose, that's just the beginning. I think."
-
Tears fill her eyes, as she continues her hysterical rant "What's going to happen to me, what's going on?! Why did this ever happen!?"
-
He puts his hands on her shoulders, trying to keep her calm again. "I don't know, but you've got friends here that'll halp you through it. Ok? You're going to be fine."
-
She slowly calms down, breathing heavily as she tries to keep herself from losing it "I know, but still! What the hell is going to happen to me?!"
-
"You're safe here, that's for sure. I don't know what will happen with these....mutations."
-
At that, she loses it again "Mutations!? I'm gonna mutate?!"
-
He sighes. "I didn't mean it like that...the changes is what I meant. Just relax, you have people on your side."
-
She sits back down, holding her head in her hands "What the hell is happening to me...?"
-
"I....don't know, but you'll get through this. You lived through four of my gunshots and you've got everyone on the cruiser with you too."
-
"I...." She goes quiet, her soft sobs are all that fill the room, as trhe doctor leaves just in case
-
He pulls her in for a hug, patting her back softly.
-
She remains as she is, crying softly in his arms
-
He keeps patting her back, slowly slowing down. He pulls back. "It's alright, you're going to be fine."
-
"No, I'm not..." She looks up at him
-
"Trust me, I've been through Hell. Twice actually." He chuckles a bit. "And you were able to kill that wolf. You're easily one of the strongest women I know."
-
She doesn't move "I don't care, I already stand out enough!"
-
He chuckles a bit more. "And I don't?" She realizes what he means, being almost completely metal.
-
"Atleast people -blam!-ing accept you, Python!" She looks up at him "I walk somewhere, and people look at me like I'm not even human! They treat me like some kind of monster for what happened to me!"
-
He sighes, looking down, probably carefully thinking about his next words. After a while, he looks back up, meeting her eyes and speaks. "Look, either they're gonna learn to deal with how you look, or they can go screw themselves. You'll be ok, you've got friends and people to lean on. Doesn't mean you'll need to, but you will when you do."
