I like your thinking, but then the class thing really wouldn't matter (and you could be very op) it would be more like skyrim then, no class, just "you" I think Destiny should stick with the classes.

  • They could keep the classes and give them different armor, agility, or regen, or think of different passive bonuses separate from the skills, such as titans specialize in melee, so they have a passive bonus that makes melee attacks recharge slightly faster, or do slightly more damage etc. Or they could give access to the same abilities, but make them behave slightly differently when the class adds their specialization into it. For example add a basic solar grenade that explodes and lights enemies in fire, warlocks at higher levels could increase the burn damage DoT, titans could increase the blast radius of the grenade, hunters could turn the grenade into a trap such as the tripmine that detonates on proximity. Just an idea, but I really think this could make destiny 2 a much better game than destiny 1 currently is.

  • yea. I am really excited for a few games. 'No Man's Sky' which if it is just how they say, will definitely be one of the best rpg/sandbox/adventure games in history. Also 'Battleborn' which is made by the same people as Borderlands, and looks cool. Not so much rpg, but sorta like Destiny strikes and raids put together, so 5 person co-op as well as splitscreen. I am trusting 2k and the other company that they will make a fun game. I think Borderlands deserves one of the top spots for split-screen.
