The Taken King was not a game it was an expansion marketed as a game to justify the price

Where was the disc ?
-
It wad bigger than original destiny tho
-
I prefer original Destiny tbh
-
Far less to do in original destiny no trials or extra event stufd

Still. At the time, it was enough. Ask 90% of vets and they will tell you that Vanilla was the golden age of Destiny. There was so much to be excited for. Upcoming expansions to this amazing game, the best raid, unraveling secrets, and the best fun. There weren't any calls for "nerfs" or any other annoying shit that we have nowadays.

Edited by TotallyNotDrew: 12/4/2015 10:56:15 PMThose nostalgia glasses though. Vanilla Destiny was so bad it wasn't even funny. Legendaries were nearly as rare as exotics, and would usually turn into blues. Bungie took away nearly all of the fun strike boss spots, pulse rifles were useless, as were all exotics other then Suros and Vex. The only thing you could do in Vanilla Destiny was strikes and a raid. And the strikes weren't t challenging or difficult.

..yep, pretty much. I loved it. Also, Thorn was personally one of my best weapons in Vanilla.. and only maybe one legendary turned into a blue for me.
-
Now I know you're trolling. Thorn was nigh unusable in Vanilla Destiny, with its low magazine size and extremely slow reload.
-
Still, it was the time in Destiny that I did best in for PVP. Sniping and Thorning used to be my thing.
-
Yeah there were nerfs for the vex for the pocket for gg don't lie to me ive played since the beta most people are a bigger fan of ttk than they were of vanila as there was only one way to get gear and 1 set of gear
-
Unreasonable nerfs, ya -blam!-. Not the ones that were batshit crazy OP.
-
What nerfs aren't needed bungies trying to keep a healthy meta
-
They suck at it.
-
Nit really you can use a lot of different stuff to success right now
