And wouldn't it be an interesting concept if your choices were important, as it is now you just finish leveling the subclass and pick whatever you want and change of you don't like it. I think it would be interesting if there were several more choices, but they were 'locked' once made, and you would have to sacrifice something to respec your character, whether it be money (in game currency), or having to relevel a certain amount. Personally I think that would add much more versatility to the game, and make things much more dynamic. If you saw a hunter throw an arcbolt grenade, and then he ran up and used FoH, that would be more interesting than seeing him throw the same grenade and instantly knowing he has bladedancer.

In this version yes, but what if in destiny 2 they play tested the combinations enough so that they could give us several different options when leveling, and nothing was blatantly OP? What if they could actually achieve a balance and give us the freedom to choose our own abilities? And what if they kept the pve coding separate from the pvp coding so if there was an imbalance in pvp they could fix that, without changing pve?
