To me it sounds like this is putting a rest to fast rate of fire pulse rifles because they don't have as high of range

The PDX-45 the gunsmith sold a few weeks ago with unflinching and high-impact rounds can have a ton of range. It's becoming one of my favorite PvP guns. I was clearing off that portal platform from A on Vertigo with it. Winning 2 to 3 on 1 battles.

I have the same one. To me that is a mid range encounter that's still in its effective range. On some bigger maps I'll spec Oiled Frame and Rifled Barrel.
