Frustrations with Destiny

I'm on the verge of giving up on Destiny. I thought I'd post here in case the powers that be see this and might actually do something about it. There are a number of things that are bugging me, so here they are in no particular order. A couple of updates ago, the respawn rates in the Steppes got changed. Now that area gets very few Fallen to shoot at. It used to be that you could always count on some to come running up the stairs in that middle bunker at a certain time (when a drop ship wasn't around). Nope. Used to be that drop ships came regularly for both sides of the Steppes. Nope. Used to be that the three Hive Majors would spawn in that underground area (great for doing bounties), but even that has changed. To get them to spawn after you kill them, now you have to go back upstairs and kill the Fallen waiting above. If they're not there, then you have to go kill whatever Fallen ARE around. It's frustrating bigtime, especially when you're working on bounties and aren't the only one trying to do the same thing. Frankly, it's easier to keep going back to orbit and coming back down to force the respawns. Even over in the Mothyards, I've noticed the spawn rates have changed a bit. I haven't gone there in quite a while so maybe that's changed back. The only place that I think hasn't been affected is The Divide, but I'm not sure on that. Skywatch seems like enemies don't respawn as often there either. STOP SCREWING WITH THE WEAPONS. This constant Nerf game is ridiculous. And since Ice Breaker is no longer "current" would you please switch it back to the five-second ammo recharge interval? Sometimes it's still fun to use it, but the 7-second nerf it got is majorly annoying. Reducing the payout from level-ups by 20% (e.g. down to 4 Motes and 4 Strange Coins) was lame. Though it's not like Xur actually sells anything useful that often. BTW, he hasn't sold Exotic Shards in I dunno how long. Is that going to change? The Heroic Strikes are now as hard as the pre-TTK's Nightfalls. While I do enjoy a good challenge, they're a pain in the ass now. Since I don't have anybody to play with, I have to rely on matchmaking, and more than half the time, the first time we wipe, one or both of the people leave. Makes it really hard to complete the mission. Public Events are 100% pointless now. You get what, a few motes of light for completing one? Big freakin' deal. How about giving us Marks like they used to? Liked the old routine of 4 marks per Gold Tier and a 2 mark bonus for your first gold tier of the day. Again, since I don't have anybody to play with, my ONLY means of getting marks reliably is the daily Crucible... and I'm not a fan of Crucible anyway. PLUS, if you don't get at least one kill (some days I really suck at it), you don't get crap. No, I don't want to use LFG to get people to play with. Been there, tried that. More than half the time, they either suck more than I do (and that's saying something), and/or their headset is a POS and you can hear every barking dog or screaming kid in the background. So I stick with just playing alone, except for the very rare occasion when somebody I know is actually on and not already in a three-player Fireteam. Meanwhile my light level is still in the mid/upper 280's. Some of these new questions are entirely too long and/or complicated. I had just gotten that one from Banshee for the exotic hand cannon. I got the first step completed and waited for Arms Day. Then I googled to see what all was involved and if the gun was even any good. Long story short... it wasn't, and when a quest involves Crucible, no thanks. Discarded that one. So there's absolutely NO chance I will ever do the Black Spindle mission (Lost Light) because of nobody to play with. Tried it once when I did have a couple of people on, and they didn't know anything about it, and I dunno if it was a bug or what, but after getting the shard and hauling ass to try to get into that side-mission, if somebody died, we couldn't revive them. We had to wipe and do it all over. We gave up after a half dozen tries. And of course there are the even more intricate ones like Sleeper Simulant, and another one I don't recall the name of... but you need nearly every Calcified Fragment to get it. I have something resembling a life outside of Destiny, so no, I don't have time for that. Sigh. Iron Banner... I'm not quite sure what the point of it is. You work your butt off to get to Level 5 during the week and for what? To buy armor (with Marks I don't have) that's still 280? Oh and fwiw, even though I don't like Crucible in general, I did like Control better than Clash. I only played Iron Banner two or three times this last go-around. I THINK that covers it. I love Destiny but I'm so frustrated with it I haven't played it in over a week. Rather, I did try it last night for a little while, til I hit that lack of respawn issue in the Steppes. Then I said screw it and went to bed. I would sure like to see some of these things addressed in near-future updates. Otherwise it'll be time for me to move onto something else... no idea what that'll be.
