Maybe if the vendors had a blank version of each weapon and you got a random roll when you bought it but it told you what perks etc, you could potentially get. Similar to gunsmith really.

Edited by Twohothardware: 11/28/2015 5:40:01 AMI would be satisfied more with the current lack of reforging if vendor weapons had completely new perk rolls each week at reset but if Bungie is going to keep them all static every week then there should be some way to change the perks on those guns through the Gunsmith even if it is a very limited number of times.

Yeah, I was talking about that with a friend. The only downside is you'd have loads of people with the same roll depending on what week it was but again I guess not much different from armsday. Maybe too similar to one another.
